Since 1982, KRAPF ASSOCIATES has worked with non-profit organizations, community groups and property owners, to manage the financial and strategic tasks involved in developing real estate. Chief among these tasks are developing the financial package needed to realize the project (estimating costs and proposing sources of funds), selecting the development team, and implementing and coordinating the development process through scheduling and communication. The company’s principal, Alice Krapf, has over 35 30 years experience in real estate development and government.
Prior to founding Krapf Associates, Ms Krapf administered both the State’s and Boston’s leased housing programs and served as a Board Designee in the late 1970’s to the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency.
Ms Krapf has lectured across the country on the subjects of real estate development for non-profit organizations and on housing and services for special needs populations. Ms Krapf was on the Board of the YWCA-Boston from 1993-2003, where she served as Chair from 1998-2000, chaired the Facilities Committee, and also served as a Boston delegate at three national YWCA Conventions. She is a former Senior Warden of St John’s Church, Charlestown and currently serves on the Diocesan Loan Committee, the Diocesan Property Committee, and the Real Estate Advisory Committee to the Standing Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts.
Ms Krapf holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Policy Analysis from the New School for Social Research in New York City.
